17th June 2005 Windsurfing: Lake Bala Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 10-117 knts Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: 18C Sea Temperature: Weather: overcast, drizzle Max Speed: Distance Covered: Quick lunchtime session on the race kit. Way over powered at first so came in and tried the Flow and 7.5m but only got going on occassion so went back to the race kit as the wind dropped a little. Mad runs getting used to this kit again flying upwind at warp speed! Had trouble bearing away to gybe so just enjoyed the blasting ;-) Still spinning out on the 58cm fin when fully loaded and hitting chop, I guess this kit is a bit technical to sail. Good session in nice warm weather, I guess this is why I have a 9.0m. |
